DTF stands for Direct-to-Film printing. It's a method where your design is printed onto a special film, then heat-transferred directly onto the fabric. The result is vibrant, durable, and works beautifully on dark and light garments alike.

We use it because it handles fine detail exceptionally well, which matters a lot when the "design" is your actual handwriting. Every loop, every line, every imperfect letter comes through exactly as you wrote it. That's the whole point.

DTF prints wash well and hold their colour over time. We'd rather give you something that lasts than something that fades after ten washes.

Write whatever you want to say on a plain white piece of paper, as big or small as feels natural. Then take a photo of it in good lighting (natural light works best) and upload it during the ordering process.

Don't stress about making it perfect. Messy, slanted, loopy, cramped. That's the point. Your handwriting is unrepeatable, and that's exactly what makes it meaningful. We've never once had someone apologize for their handwriting and been right about it.

Every piece is made to order, so production takes 2–3 business days before your order ships. After that, delivery depends on where you are:

Canada: 5–10 business days. USA: 7–14 business days. International: 10–21 business days.

If you're ordering for a specific occasion, build in some extra time. And if you're cutting it close, reach out before you order, and we'll be straight with you about whether it's doable.

We start production quickly, so the window is short, but email us as soon as possible at contact@speakfromyourart.com and we'll do our best.

If your order hasn't entered production yet, we can usually make changes or cancel. Once it's in production, we can't stop it, but if we made an error, we'll always replace it. See our returns page for details.

Yes, we ship worldwide from Montréal. Every order is tracked regardless of destination.

For international orders, please be aware that duties and taxes may apply depending on your country's customs rules. These fees are set and collected by your country's customs authority, and we have no control over them. They're the responsibility of the recipient. If you're unsure what to expect, it's worth checking with your local customs office before ordering.

If your piece arrives with a production defect, damage in transit, or isn't what you ordered. We replace it, no questions asked.

Email us at contact@speakfromyourart.com within 7 days of receiving your order. Include your order number and a photo of the issue. We'll get back to you within 2–3 business days and sort it out.
